Week 64: 631-640

631:  Most important lesson learned from family?
Solid foundation in Christ


632:  Biggest piece of wisdom our elders can offer?
HISTORY!!!!


633:  Have you ever given someone bad advice? What was it?
"Marriage is wonderful!  Go for it!"


634:  Bad loser or good sport?
Good sport.


635:  Do you possess any qualities of a warrier?
Get me mad enough and Mama Bear comes out.


636:  What is one thing people buy you see as a waste of money?
Overpriced coffee or high end clothes.  Esp if you're only going to wear them once.


637:  What was your last big acheivement?
Was #1 in AP4Me and got a perfect score on LU on 4/13.  Otherwise, publishing book #45 any day now.


638:  Did you apply for any scholorships?  What kind?
A couple of times to a writing conference, or grants.  Didn't get either.


639: What keeps you balanced in life and work?
My obligations to family.

640:  If you could steal one thing without consequence, what would it be?
Books!  Or a dump trailer, to start purging things out of my 'hoarder house'.

622:  What is the most serious issue facing the planet right now?
Stupidity or nuclear war


623:  What wild animal deserves our protection right now?
Polar Bear, Bees


624:  Is there something in life you'd never give up for anyone?
My desire to write, publish, and promote.


625:  What restores your faith in humanity?
When I see kids acting responsibly.


626:  Are you afraid of dying?  If so, how do you cope?
Nope; I know what's on the other side!  FAITH!

No clue.

More empathetic; sometimes I can just 'sense' a need.

Black Labs, pit bull, Yorkies, poodles.

Week 62: 611-620

611:  Do you like comic books and if so, what's your favorite?

Right now, it's Ron Braun's Platypus from space series!  Used to love Archie, Richie Rich, and Disney ones


612:  What word do you have the hardest time spelling?

Guarantee. Or typing, 'what' 'was'.  I can spell; my fingers do not, ha ha!


613:  Have you ever played Soduku and if so, how good are you?

Once.  Bleh....I'll stick to solitaire and word searches.


614:  What's your most expensive piece of clothing?

Probably either my shoes (Sketchers, $75).  Jeans are around $50-60; Shirts around $25-30. Most expensive jewelry is my grandmother's diamond ring and necklace.


615:  What's your favorite saying?

"Huh?"  or "You're killing me, Smalls".


616:  If you started your own podcast, what would it be about and what would the title be?

I'd let someone else run it. Turn the camera on me and brain locks up, unless of course, it's a question I'm prepared to answer!


617:  How impulsive are you and with what?

Right now, inexpensive swag items from Temu. Otherwise, book-buying, or if I hit a sale at Maurices or Hobby Lobby.


618: Have you ever overheard someone saying something negative about you?  What was it?

Yes. Middle school, making fun of me.


619:  What makes you feel like a kid again?

Being at Disney World or any amusement park!

I'd be a Jedi.  Or one of the good guys.

601:  When in school, who was your favorite essay or assignment about?

9th grade English; Creative Writing.  Essay about a person?  My 9th grade crush.


602:  How important is physical fitness to you?

I try to maintain a consistent weight, and I used to walk daily, but since the leg wound, I'm not allowed on my feet.


603:  How close are you to your family?

We keep in regular contact; Teen granddaughter lives with us.


604:  Can you change a flat tire?

Yes.   But do I WANT to? No.


605:  Who or what has been your best teacher?

Life; Mr. Davis (college prof); Mrs Harrell (2nd grade); Mrs Yost (9th grade English)


606: Do you support local businesses?  If so, what's your favorite?

Yes. Frank's Restaurant, Marmee's Table.


607:  How sensitive are you?

I've managed to develop thick skin since Jr. High, but sometimes criticism can really cut deep.


608:  Do you have a favorite uplifting self-help book that encourages you?

The Bible.

 591:  Would you work less and do more, even if it meant less $$?

I sort of already do this....



592:  Do you think street smarts count for anything?

YES!



593:  If you saw someone drop a $10 bill, would you keep it or return it?

If I SAW them, I'd return it. But if I FOUND it, I'd keep it.



594:  If you could host anything, would it be a game show, award show, or talk show?

Only if a teleprompter was available....I'd do the award show.



595: Would you be open to preserving your body cryogenically?

Nope.

HELL NO!



597:  What is your most embarassing moment in public?

Trying to sing a song that's waaaaaay too low for me, or not knowing the words. 

Or the time I stuttered through a radio interview.....

Ice cream; listen to them

The huge icicle at the corner of the house (Jan 28th)

I've moved from Romance to general or paranormal fiction....

 581:  Are you an introvert or extrovert?

Yes.  Both.  It depends on the situation and how comfortable I feel.



582:  Do you have in-laws and do you get along with them?

For the most part.



583:  Do you act different around a certain person and if so, who?

I guard my tongue when around people who don't share my political views.



584: What does your typical breakfast look like?

Home:  2 cups of coffee; bagal or cereal if I'm in the mood.

Away:  Scrambled eggs, toast or bagal; waffle; 2 cups coffee



585: Have you ever tried to change anybody?

Other than my kids' diapers, no.



586: How old do you feel?

Anywhere from 25-80, depending on health.



587: If you were to get a tattoo, what would it be?

Toss up between a zipper or needle and thread through my arm scar.

Again, come back in 10 years and see if I'm ready to tell.

Walking; aerobics.  Specifically, Sweatin' to the Oldies.

Does the one in Chicago at the Science and Industry Museum count? Or the 27,000 Leagues Under The Sea ride at Disney?  LOL...

Kind of badly......I've done this since I can remember.  I wanted to fit in, but just couldn't.

Wet P---sy.  Darling Nikki.



577:  Where do you lack discipline in your life?

Regular writing schedule; dieting.



578:  What is one thing you do you consider practical?

Pay my bills every payday, go to work.

PB Twix; Check Mix; Snickers or 3 Musketeers
