Week 15: 141-150

141) Would you ever steal in order to provide for your family?

Depends on how desperate we are.


142) In your opinion, who do you consider to be a visionary?

Not sure....


143) If you could live forever, would you want to?

I don't think so. I wouldn't want to out-live my friends and family.


144) Have you ever touched a snake or would you?

I've touched pythons and a boa constrictor....while someone ELSE held it!

Wine....wisdom

In the early days of AOL....yes. Then I wised up.

Einstein, Pasteur, Curie, Salk...to name a few.

Too often in both elementary and middle school.  Being myself....

I'd like to find the bookstore on Main St.

Most of the Schoolhouse Rock and 70s commercials!

Week 14: 131-140

131) Were you popular in school; if so, what made you popular?

I was popular by default; my BFF was a basketball player, Plus, I was in marching band.

I knew about half the people in my graduating HS class, but didn't fit into one clique; I hung out with a variety of different people from sports to preppy to nerds to the hoods. 

I dressed like a prep.

Was in band.

Hung around the basketball players.

Was friends with a teenage mom.

Worked in the library.

Went to prom with a kid who was technically a juvenile delinquent, but we worked together every day in the library, and he helped me out when my date cancelled on me 4 days prior to the dance.

See?  Had friends all across the social ladder.


132) What risk would you take, if you knew you wouldn't fail?

Open up my own bookstore/cafe


133) What was an offer you couldn't refuse?

"Will you marry me?"


134) Do you believe in angels?

Yes


135) If you were guaranteed the correct answer, what would you ask?

What really happened my 8th grade year?


136) Would you rather lose all your old memories or never be able to make new ones?

Can I just forget the bad ones?


137) Have you ever been at the wrong place at the wrong time and if so, where?

A party in 1986....but thankfully my roommate agreed to leave with me. If we'd stayed, there's a remote possibility I'd have a record.....and met my hubby one year earlier.

Only while in the company of my beautiful BFF (Not the one in #131)

Being bullied in school

121) Do you have a calling on your life?

I must write or my head will explode...


122) Have you ever let someone win an argument, even though you knew they were wrong?  If so, whom?

I've actually done this several times with my sister, and I purposefully lost a Trivial Pursuit game when my partner though she knew the answer and I was positive I was right.  So our final answer, I said, "Horse racing, even though I know it's auto racing."  The question?  "What sport has hairpin turns?"


123) Could you ever be a medical guinea pig?

Only if it would possibly save my life. I watched/read Firestarter, ha ha!


124) What is the most annoying thing about your significant other?

He's not married to me (ROFL!)

Actually, the one who is married to me, is the fact he's loud, outspoken, and racist.


125) How do you feel about investing your money?

I've invested in myself...'nuff said.


126) What is something you'd like to grow instead of buying?

My money....


127) How do you like to take your coffee or tea?

Coffee:  Hot, with sweet-n-low and irish cream creamer

Tea: McDonald's sweet and cold, or when I'm sick, chamomile and hot.


128) How smart is your Significant other; who is smarter?

I'm book-smart, he's street-smart


129) What is your preferred swimming stroke?

I'm a breast-stroker.

Spending $$ and trying to cover it up.

111) What is your favorite thing to eat ice cream on or eat it with?

A spoon


112) Who would you love to collaborate on and with whom?

Any famous writer, just to see their creative process!


113) Where do you cut costs when you need to save?

Eating out; I also ask to increase my hours, such as when I needed $3K in order to go to NYC last year.


114)  What was one thing you begged your parents for as a kid and they finally gave it to you?

A TV in my room.....got one when I went away to college!


115) If you could have someone serenade you over a candlelight dinner, who would it be?

Toss up between Neil Diamond, Luciano Pavarratti, Joe Elliott, or Steve Perry.  Or even Lou Graham. Tommy Shaw.  


116) Do you think horoscopes are accurate?

I think they can be interpreted in any way they can.  I kept track once for fun.


117) How do you describe millenials?

According to the age bracket....my kids.


118) Do you have a pet?  If so, which kind?

Dogs, cats, skunk, 2 possums, squirrels, a groundhog, and various raccoons

"I love you.....and please burn everything in my file cabinet w/o reading it first. Also, donate all my books; do NOT let your sister burn them. Pass down the marble furniture and take care of it."

101) What do you need to do in order to grow?

As a person? Never stop learning or opening yourself to new opportunities.

Play the harp, or the hammered dulicmer.

My dad and Driver's Ed

Yes; the woman catty-cornered to us fell in her driveway; I called 911 and went to help her.  

If you mean to physically help someone cross the street....then no.

Not sure....stupidity???

Private jet.  I'm nowhere near the ocean.

I'm approachable and friendly
